Q.P.R tickets

After years of waiting, and hours of holding with the telephone box office, I've finally got them. At long last I'm off to see QPR....play football, and Hull City on the 23rd. Obviously I'm very excited to go and see such a prestigious club, and the Queen!? at what point will I actually get to meet her? At the end? with all the other dignitaries? I do hope she will remember me, she once waved to me from her huge ship.

This is going to sound very dumb, but on the ticket it says Ellerslie Road Cargiant STAND, does that mean stand, as in stadium stand. Or does it mean stand, as in not sitting down for 2 hours?

Still bringing the dogs, they love football too. They will be on their best behaviour, and I'll try and make sure they don't roll in anything disgusting before they arrive.

Thanks for all your emails with suggestions regarding that elusive painting. I really cannot think where it is, and have searched blogs myself, but nothing. Do keep looking, its out there somewhere.

More posts coming soon, and blogs I love.

I once got invited to a party where the theme was 'red and black'. I thought I was being really cool wearing an old QPR away shirt, but apparently they meant 'proper clothes'.

I'll get me coat, I said. Which wasn't red or black, so I was doubly stuffed.

Hi Heather. Loftus Road is all-seater. This link might be useful to you.

Never having been to a football match, my only frame of reference if through rugby. They don't separate the fans in rugby, so once I was crying out "Come on, Scarlets!" and a woman in front of me turned around looking terrified.

What did she think I was going to do? I don't know. At the end of the match she complimented me on my behaviour. I left, confused.

Anyway, have a good time, and say hello for her majesty for me.

Hi Gary, you're a QPR fan? Am I destined for a life of misery? I can't decide whether to wear 'proper clothes' or a football top on the 23rd.

Salvadore vincent, thank you, I have emailed them to ask if they plan to win on Saturday.

Hi Corin, I don't know what she thought you were going to do? how odd. I've never been to a rugby game, but would love to see England play. Will say hello to the Queen from you.

Anon - Oh, I will be watching out for that one!

I hope you enjoy the game. I have been to QPR grounds to watch a rugby match. The difference is quite amazing, lots of spectators were blazers and you can drink alcohol as you watch, it's all very civilised.

I have taken my son to see Tottenham play, as well as England and Brazil in Wembley Stadium, it makes such a difference seeing professionals play, though I never feel comfortable with the rowdy element.

I do have a soft spot for French footballers, they seem so graceful on the pitch. My husband bought me a signed pic of David Ginola, he played so beautifully.

You are taking DOGS to a footie match?!!!

I haven't been taken since I leapt over to intercept a poor corner kick, punctured the ball, weaved through the entire defence and weed on the goalpost.

    I thought is was graceful.

Heather, if you make enough noise at the game, I'll be able to hear you.

Ellee, what a thoughtful husband you have.

Hi Murphmeister - sounds very graceful, as long as you enjoyed yourself.. it's only a game isn't it?

Hi Billy - you will? I'll get the dogs to start barking and howling at half time as well then.
